Sally Filler is a recent but enthusiastic ferret convert that has enough self control to limit her household to two ferrets, but enough sympathy to want to help out the ones she can't adopt. In addition to volunteering at the central facility, Sally has sponsored Curmudgeon. Thanks Sally!!! Curmudgeon had adrenal surgery in early November 2001 and even though it was a very long procedure, he has recovered extremely well. His coat has come in very soft and he is very playful, especially if he is allowed to play alone without any other ferrets. Because his adrenal surgery took so long, the vet was not able to remove the various wart-like gowths he has, so he will have to go through another surgical procedure in the future to remove them, especially the one that is becoming irritated on the bottom of one of his hind feet. |
