Since: March 9, 2006 Mika Gentili-Lloyd sponsored Mr. Green Jeans. February 2005: Mr. Green Jeans has been doing wonderfully in his foster home where he gets to travel around and play on carpet which helps him get around. He gets around so well some people don't even realize until later that he is missing one of his hind legs. He has been getting monthly lupron injections and has several ferret friends he enjoys. He got his teeth cleaned at the end of 2004. March 2006: Mr. Greenjeans is very attentive to the goings-on of the humans and is usually the first one up and out of the cage. He's getting up there in years and it shows. He has adrenal disease and is currently getting injections of lupron to help with the symptoms. He doesn't play as much as he used to. He has a great appetite, and tends to hog the soup; he also seems to think that hanging out of the hammock to drink is much more interesting than actually getting up out of bed. Outings generally consist of finding somewhere new to poop that doesn't involve a litterbox (he's never been too keen on the litterbox), checking out what his friend Baker and Jasmine are doing, making a few rounds around the house all while avoiding the big obnoxious kitten that wants to play, then finding a nice comfy place to sleep. |
