Adrien and her husband live in Arizona and sponsored Mathilde "in loving memory of our beloved ferret, Rasputina". When Mathilde arrived at CFN she was a timid, thin girl who was unable to use her back legs. She has since been quite busy at the food bowl, and getting used to sharing her life with ferrets and humans. Mathilde is now quite chunky, has no trouble using her legs, and in fact is very assertive about her play time. Mathilde's playmates at this time are CFN ferrets Mini, Mister, Slinky, Sly, and Becca.
