Pipit is sponsored by her former owner, Lydia Wedge, who now lives in Kansas. Pipit is doing well living in a huge cage with one male and four female ferrets. She gets out to play twice each day and some days she gets to play upstairs in our personal living area which they all look forward to. Pipit has been loosing hair ever since her arrival and was almost bald until very recently. The vet has examined her several times, but has not been able to detect any enlargement of her adrenal glands. Just in the last few weeks she has suddenly started regrowing all of her fur again. She will probably still need to have adrenal surgery in the future, but now she will be more presentable to take to public events. She has been to public events more than once now and she seems to enjoy herself very much which was a surprise for the rest of us.
