Anna and Mike found a stray ferret many years ago and brought it to CFN. Ever since then they have been devoted supporters of the ferrets in the network. They were the sponsors of Possum from 2003 until his recent death in early 2007. They came to visit him during an open house and have sent him cards and special gifts throughout the years. Now that Possum is gone, they have become one of the special needs sponsors of Sophie and another old timer, Zima, as well as being long time sponsors of Annie.

The following is from Sophie's foster caretaker:

Sophie has the most adorable wibble~wobble when she is hurrying off somewhere. You just have to laugh, watching her. When she runs, she hops like a bunny; it is so endearing to see her hop down the hallway with one of her stuffed toys, tucking it in a drawer for a nap. I can always tell which drawer she has been using... there will be so many tiny stuffed animals I wonder how she can fit herself in, too. One of their very favorite play areas is on a bed, preferably before it's made up in the morning. There's something about all those covers to tear around in, and play tag or hide n' seek, that really gets them going!
