We don't know how old Weezer really is, but he is at least 5 years old. He has been showing symptoms of low blood sugar recently and a blood test found a very low glucose level indeed. He was also found to have a heart murmur and has been put on enalapril to help his heart work more efficiently. Subsequent check-ups have found no sign of the murmur. Weezer was put on prednisone and proglycem to help raise his blood sugar level. We are still working at getting the dosages adjusted properly. A volunteer recently noticed a lump on Weezer's cheek. The vet took a needle aspirate and the sample was sent off to be analyzed by an expert. The good news is the cells are not cancerous, but the lump is still there and we aren't sure what to do about it.
